Smith's Big Apple Old Fashioned
Named in tribute to P.A. Smith who was a teacher from New York who had close ties with Abraham Lincoln. When the civil war happened P.A had a soft spot for the south and after losing the was ended up in Navasota. He then Married Louisa Lofton who purchased the construction of the hotel, but Smith had his name put on the hotel because a lady's name would have been obscure for the time. This old fashioned has the apple to replace the mainstream orange and cherry to represent P.A. being from the "Big Apple".
